On May 24, 2026, a live workshop entitled “Listen to Yourself: Understanding Your Own Desires” was held as part of the “Tall Flowers” project. The event took place at Ginger Cafe in Grodzisk Wielkopolski and was designed for women seeking a space for support, personal growth, and reconnection with themselves.

The “Tall Flowers” project was created as a safe and welcoming environment for women experiencing life transitions, migration, emotional overload, personal crises, or simply looking for a place where they can be themselves without the pressure of meeting external expectations.

The project’s mission is to support women in gradually reconnecting with their needs, emotions, bodies, and inner resources through psychoeducational activities, art therapy, and self-regulation practices.

Purpose of the Meeting

The primary objective of the workshop was to increase participants’ awareness of their personal needs and desires, develop self-reflection skills, and strengthen psychological well-being.

Modern women often face pressure from multiple social, family, and professional roles, which can lead to a loss of connection with their own needs. The workshop provided an opportunity to pause, reflect, and learn how to listen to oneself again.

Program and Working Methods

During the workshop, participants engaged in:

  • art therapy techniques supporting the exploration of personal needs and inner resources;
  • body-awareness practices;
  • exercises developing self-observation and mindfulness;
  • emotional self-regulation tools;
  • methods for reducing stress and psychological tension.

The combination of creative activities, body-based experiences, and psychological reflection enabled participants to gain a deeper understanding of their reactions, needs, and sources of internal support.

Outcomes of the Event

As a result of participating in the workshop, attendees:

  • acquired practical tools for understanding their needs and emotions more effectively;
  • increased awareness of their psychological and physical well-being;
  • learned techniques that support emotional regulation;
  • strengthened their connection with their bodies and bodily signals;
  • experienced the benefits of belonging to a supportive women’s group.

The meeting also contributed to reducing social isolation, fostering trust-based relationships, and strengthening participants’ psychological resilience.

Social Significance of the Project

The “Tall Flowers” project responds to the growing need for local initiatives that support women’s mental health and emotional well-being. It is particularly valuable for women with migration experiences, mothers, women facing life challenges, and individuals experiencing prolonged stress.

By combining psychoeducation, art therapy, body-oriented practices, and community building, the project contributes to the prevention of emotional burnout, promotes psychohygiene, and strengthens individual psychological resources.

Contribution to the Mission of the HANT Foundation

The implementation of this workshop aligns with the strategic goals of the HANT Foundation – Institute of Psychohygiene and Neurodiversity, including the promotion of mental health, the development of a culture of psychohygiene, support for psychological well-being, and the creation of accessible and inclusive forms of community support.

The “Tall Flowers” project helps build a community of women based on mutual support, trust, and personal growth, creating opportunities for restoring inner balance, strengthening resilience, and improving overall quality of life.
