“Mirror of the Sun and Lines of Strength”: A Session of the “Wardrobe of Colors” Program Within the “High Flowers” Project
On 27 June 2026, another session of the art therapy program “Wardrobe of Colors”, titled “Mirror of the Sun and Lines of Strength,” was held as part of the “High Flowers” project. The workshop was led by Vitalina SorokaOka, an artist, art therapist, and art educator.
The session focused on discovering inner resources, emotional balance, and psychological resilience through the method of Neurographica. Following the summer solstice, participants explored the symbolism of the Sun as a source of inner strength, vitality, and inspiration, reflecting on how to preserve this energy during times of change and uncertainty.
Particular attention was given to women with the experience of forced migration. Leaving one’s home country, adapting to a new environment, and rebuilding life in unfamiliar circumstances often affect self-confidence, emotional well-being, and the sense of inner stability. The creative practice offered participants an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and discover new sources of strength and resilience.
During the workshop, participants practiced Neurographica, a contemporary art-based method that combines creativity, mindfulness, and visual modeling of inner processes. Through lines, shapes, and colors, they explored their emotions, transformed limiting beliefs, and created symbolic images representing their personal resources and inner support.
The “Wardrobe of Colors” program is part of the “High Flowers” project, which brings together a series of art therapy workshops dedicated to supporting women’s mental health, strengthening emotional resilience, fostering creativity, and developing inner resources. The project places particular emphasis on supporting women with forced migration experience by promoting psychological recovery, social integration, and the creation of a caring and supportive community.
We sincerely thank Vitalina SorokaOka for leading this inspiring session and all participants for their openness, trust, and willingness to explore themselves through art.
We invite everyone to follow the upcoming sessions of the “Wardrobe of Colors” program within the “High Flowers” project. More art therapy workshops, creative experiences, and opportunities for personal growth await, providing women with a safe space to restore inner balance, strengthen psychological resilience, and build a new chapter of their lives.
