On June 7, 2026, Ginger Café hosted the creative workshop “Discovering Yourself Through Fashion Illustration,” led by fashion designer, artist, and HANT Foundation expert Inna Korol.

The event became a space for creative self-exploration, allowing participants to connect with their individuality, inner experiences, and personal resources through the art of fashion illustration. The workshop offered women an opportunity not only to create artistic images but also to gain a deeper understanding of themselves, their feelings, values, and aspirations through the creative process.

A unique atmosphere emerged naturally through openness, mutual support, and participants’ willingness to experiment and explore new ways of self-expression. The usual pace of a Sunday morning gradually gave way to curiosity, inspiration, and creative freedom.

Purpose of the Event

The primary goal of the workshop was to support women’s psychological well-being through creative activities, self-discovery, increased self-awareness, and the strengthening of internal resources.

Fashion illustration was used as a reflective and expressive tool that enabled participants to explore their inner world, emotions, and self-perception through visual imagery, color, and form.

An important objective of the event was also to create a safe environment where every participant could express herself freely without fear of judgment, comparison, or making mistakes.

Program and Methods

During the workshop, participants:

  • learned the basics of fashion illustration;
  • created their own artistic visual concepts;
  • worked with color, form, and symbolism;
  • explored personal associations and inner experiences through creativity;
  • developed self-observation and reflective skills;
  • shared insights and experiences within the group.

Particular emphasis was placed not on artistic perfection, but on the creative process itself as a pathway to self-discovery, spontaneity, and acceptance of one’s individuality.

Outcomes of the Event

As a result of participation, attendees:

  • gained experience in self-discovery through creative expression;
  • developed new forms of self-expression;
  • increased awareness of their emotions and personal needs;
  • strengthened their sense of self-worth and individuality;
  • experienced positive emotional benefits through the creative process;
  • enhanced creativity and openness to new experiences;
  • felt supported and accepted within a women’s community.

Participants noted that the creative process allowed them to slow down, step away from daily responsibilities, see themselves from a new perspective, and experience a greater sense of freedom and inspiration.

Social Significance of the Event

The event was implemented within the “Tall Flowers” project, which aims to support women’s mental health, promote a culture of psychohygiene, and create safe spaces for personal growth and development.

Creative activities serve as an important tool for preventing emotional exhaustion, increasing self-awareness, and strengthening psychological resilience. For many women, such gatherings provide an opportunity to focus on their own needs, restore emotional resources, and build supportive social connections.

These initiatives are particularly valuable for women with migration experiences, those facing life transitions or crises, individuals experiencing prolonged stress, and those at risk of social isolation.

Contribution to the Mission of the HANT Foundation

The workshop aligns with the mission of the HANT Foundation – Institute of Psychohygiene and Neurodiversity to promote mental health, develop psychohygiene practices, popularize creative and art-based approaches to psychological well-being, and create accessible opportunities for personal development and social inclusion.

The “Tall Flowers” project contributes to building a supportive community of women who can strengthen their inner resources, develop self-awareness, increase self-worth, and establish meaningful social connections.

The workshop “Discovering Yourself Through Fashion Illustration” made a valuable contribution to creating an environment where creativity becomes a tool for psychological well-being, self-discovery, and personal growth.

Special thanks are extended to Inna Korol for professionally leading the workshop and creating an atmosphere of inspiration and creative freedom. We also express our gratitude to our partners at Ginger Café for their hospitality, support, and for providing a welcoming space for socially meaningful initiatives.
