Body as a Map of Experience: Online Workshop on Biosuggestive Therapy Held
On 19 June 2026, as part of the project “Mental Health and Adaptation to Contemporary Social Challenges” and the “Psychohygiene” initiative, a free online workshop titled “Body as a Map of Experience: Introduction to Biosuggestive Therapy” was held.
The workshop was led by Anzhelika Malysheva, who introduced participants to Biosuggestive Therapy (BST), a modern psychological support method designed to help people cope with the effects of chronic stress, emotional exhaustion, traumatic experiences, and adaptation difficulties.
During the workshop, participants explored how chronic stress, forced migration, personal loss, prolonged uncertainty, and emotional tension can manifest through physical symptoms such as muscle tension, a feeling of heaviness, fatigue, chest tightness, and other psychosomatic reactions.
Special attention was given to the practical application of Biosuggestive Therapy, which combines physical relaxation, guided verbal suggestion, and music therapy. Following the theoretical session, participants took part in a group practice, experiencing the method firsthand and having the opportunity to ask questions and discuss their experiences with the speaker.
The project “Mental Health and Adaptation to Contemporary Social Challenges” aims to promote mental well-being, strengthen psychological resilience, prevent emotional burnout, and raise awareness of evidence-based approaches to psychological support. Within the “Psychohygiene” initiative, educational lectures, workshops, and practical sessions are regularly organized to help people develop self-care skills, maintain mental well-being, and adapt more effectively to today’s social challenges.
We sincerely thank everyone who participated in the workshop. More educational events, practical sessions, and initiatives dedicated to mental health, psychohygiene, and modern psychological support methods will be announced soon.
